Federico Rossi, born on 5 May 1994, is known for his liveliness and enthusiasm. Originally from Schio, in the northern part of Vicenza, he’s loved sport and hiking in the mountains since childhood. He became a wheelchair user due to an illness in his pre-teen years. Federico took part in a few competitive races as a child and has continued to pursue his love of cycling.
In recent years, he has tried both Olympic wheelchair and, after joining Obiettivo3, handbike. He has also competed in some paraduathlon events. He works in an electronics company, and in his spare time he sings and plays country music on guitar and harmonica in clubs and at events around Vicenza. In 2022 he became the first person in the world to climb Mount Stelvio in a wheelchair.
